A 5¼” x 8” dark green hard back Royal Air Force Observer’s and Air Gunner’s Flying Log book. The book details the flights of 655959 Flight Sergeant Leslie Edward Tozer during the period from July 1942 to July 1950.

The log book contains two signatures from Wing Commander Guy Penrose Gibson VC, DSO & Bar, DFC & Bar, RAF, during the period November 1942 and February 1943 when he was the Commanding Officer of 106 Squadron.

Later in 1943 Guy Gibson was selected as the Commanding Officer of the Royal Air Force’s 617 Squadron which he led in Operation Chastise, commonly known as the ‘Dam Busters’ raid.

Used for 8 years, the book shows natural wear but the autographs are in fine condition.
