Autographed lithograph of "Clown et Acrobat (1954) by Pablo Picasso (1881-1973).

Picasso is considered one of the forefathers of Modern Art. Although more commonly known for his Cubist body of work, in later life Picasso focussed more intensely on the graphic arts. He produced simplified, colourful drawings using more basic materials such as crayon and pencil.

This unframed lithograph measures 240 x 318mm and is unframed. Printed on Arches paper (preferred amongst printers and watercolorists). Picasso has autographed the piece in pencil to the lower border. Numbered 42 from a limited edition of 75, published by Verve Editions, with their embossed blindstamp.
